We have now reached a total of 25-men, meaning that someone will have to be cut. As before the team will play with a DH but, we are moving on up to a 4-man pitching rotation. Also remember the stats you see below are indicative of their career averages. Sorry about not posting anything on Sunday, but you know how Father’s Day is. And if it just so happens that your Dad loves baseball don’t forget to share this with him.

Coaches:
Manager: Bobby Jones
Assistant Coach: Wes Swackhamer
Summary:
With the addition of Carlton Fisk into the line-up we now have more weapons offensively and lose nothing on defense. That means Alomar had to be sent to the bench, but he and Matheny can still provide quality games when called upon. The first cut from the squad is Wes Swackhamer. But don’t you worry he’s now an assistant coach, meaning that the team will never run out of Gatorade.
Nothing changed with the rotation but the bullpen did get stronger with the addition of Kevin Cameron. Now eventually a new starter will join the rotation, but that doesn’t mean that the bullpen will decrease in size.
And now the squad has a manager, in the form of Bobby Jones who no doubt will be able to carry his success from the minor leagues to this made up team of mine. But for real Bobby Jones should be managing an actual baseball team right now. Also expect to see some freshly cut players to start appearing in some open coaching position any time now. Because as we all know those who can’t play coach.
And with that version 4 of the squad is ready to go.
