As many of you know I'm not the biggest fan of domed stadiums and or stadiums with retractable roofs. But while on vacation in Milwaukee over the summer I had an opportunity to attend a Brewers game and experience Miller Park. I must say, Wisconsin as a state is underrated and so to is this ballpark. And with the Brewers on the way up, there is not a better time than to load up the family truckster and to catch a Brewers game.
The Rankings will be based on a 5 Star Point system and for once all the photos were taken by me.
1. Parking
The cost of parking can run from anywhere of $11-$20 depending on the type of parking you buy and if you pre-ordered a parking pass. My advice pre-order a preferred parking pass to go along with your tickets for $16 and save yourself the walk. A benefit of the stadium is that it is located right off the highway and the wait time was minimal. A con though is that you are right off the highway, meaning that your at the mercy of downtown traffic when you're trying to leave the game.
Overall: 4 Stars
It's your typical baseball parking lot, with typical baseball parking amenities
2. Seating

Miller Park sits a little over 46,000 and has different seating options for different price points. They of course have the seats that are right behind home plate that are more expensive than my car, and also the nosebleeds where you can see your car. I got to experience the game in the Loge Seating level which is the 2nd level of seating. As you can see from the view these seats give you a nice side view of the field with out any obstruction. As far as comfort of the chairs go, their your typical stadium seating not much else needs to be said. Ticket prices will vary based on where you buy them from, but overall the Loge Level is the best bang for your buck option.
Overall: 4 Stars
Again it's your typical seating arrangement. But the thing that sets Miller Park apart from other stadiums is that unlike Yankee Stadium or Fenway Park you actually get good value for what you pay for.
3. Extras.

If your traveling with kids I understand. that they're not the easiest thing to keep entertained. Do not worry though, because Miller Park has all the small little things that kids love. First off there's the sausage race that sees a gaggle of sausages race around the field for the amusement of the crowd. There's also a rock wall out in right field, as well as a Bob Uecker statue in section 422. You also got your typical retired numbers/hall of fame that most parks have, as well as a mascot meet and greet.
Overall: 3.5 Stars
As a kid I'm pretty sure that i would've liked some of these gimmicks. But, as a seasoned baseball watcher I just found myself sipping on my beer and enjoying the game.
4. Food/ Drinks

Let's get to where to park really shines and that their new updated concession stands. You got your typical hot dog and peanut options, but Miller Park really goes above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to food. First of all, being that the stadium has the name Miller on it you know that it's going to have some good beer on tap and that it does. But it's not just Miller Lite being served oh no, they also serve a variety of craft beers sure to please any beer drinker. But it's not just beer where Miller Park thrives, it also features a lot of tasty grub. Featuring items like sriracha infused cheese curds, big burgers, smoked meat sandwiches or the classic Sheboygan brat. When you sit down at your seat with a bag of fried cheese curds a brat and a ice cold beer you truly are experiencing Wisconsin at it's finest.
Overall: 5 Stars
This was without a doubt the highlight of the ballpark and it's what truly separates itself from other stadiums.

Overall Experience: 4 Stars
Miller Park is nice comfortable ball park that does all the little things right, but is not to flashy. Miller Park is like your favorite hoodie, comfortable, doesn't blow you away, and just feels right. That my loyal readers is Miller Park in a nutshell.
